In this article, the author offers information on membership of the periodical on expanding membership, and benefits of being a member of different foundations which enhance professional life. Topics discussed include no shortage of challenges to library materials, issues related with intellectual freedom, and member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). The author informs about the Freedom to Read Foundation (FTRF) which defends librarians and benefits of being its member.
