- Abstract
The article presents a case study of Winnipeg, Manitoba with a focus on immigrants and diversity in urban decline. Discussion is presented about the inner city of Winnipeg, neighborhood communities of refugees, housing for aboriginal people and refugees, and competition for employment and housing between ethnic groups that leads to discrimination. The needs for affordable housing and social development in the communities are also discussed.
