The article examines laws concerning community caretaking' exception in Tennessee. Topics discussed include the constitution's Fourth Amendment protections; decision of the Tennessee Supreme Court in the case 'State v. McCormick;' community caretaking and function for law enforcement; and ways in which community caretaking exception allow the admission of evidence seized without reasonable suspicion or probable cause.
