- Abstract
The article measures the influence of educational expansion on the inequality of pay in Colombia. Secondary and tertiary education in Colombia expanded rapidly during the 1970s. The article examines whether the consequent increase in the relative supply of educated workers compressed the educational structure of wages. It also attempts to determine if the consequent change in the educational composition of the labor force increased the inequality of pay.
