- Abstract
The article examines the effectiveness of polymorphous light eruption (PLE), an immunological mediated photo-dermatosis affecting regions with around 10-20% of the population during second and third decades of life. It highlights the serious impact of PLE to quality of life and patients who are often afraid of being bothered on holidays or leisure activities. Also investigated is the episodic treatment of eruptive PLE which is usually performed during spring.
