- Abstract
The article is devoted to the painting of Tauria as a unique painting of Mykolaiv Region, its history and features of the image (symbols and ornamentation, colors and specific features of the elements). The painting of Tauria was discovered and named by Evhenia Bondarenko in the 1950s in her travels through the Black Sea. The peculiarities of the painting of Tauria as a unique system of decorative and ornamental decoration are the predominance in the patterns and ornaments of marine, vegetable and animal subjects, the reflection of life associated with the sea, fishing. The main elements of the painting of Tauria are the following: «fish», «lighthouse», «jellyfish», «anchors», «sailboat», «seahorse», «crab», «wind rose», and the main brush strokes are called «wave», «boat», «cloud», «drop», «seagull», «sailboat». Each element is different in its technique. The color scheme of the painting of Tauria was formed according to the available natural dyes. The painting of Tauria has its own peculiarities (white and pale-blue background depicting plant and animal elements; the compositional feature is special attitude towards the space, which is not overloaded with details of the decor and allows to focus on the plot, etc.). The author presents her own pedagogical experience of working in primary school, the teaching method of the painting of Tauria at fine arts lessons in general educational institutions and in extracurricular activity (by the examples of some paintings and complete composition). The step-by-step support of the painting of Tauria within the subjects of the program of the course «Art» for 1-2 grades schoolchildren in a comprehensive school have been proposed.
