- Abstract
Through a signal-factor sensitivity approach, this paper made a research on the computation parameters selection of the scouring depth on bank protection engineering. The results show that the depth of the scouring section, the depth and velocity of the approaching flow, together with the article diameter of sandy bed have a great influence on the scour depth calculation. With regard to the bank protection engineering of Weihe River in Gansu section, the sensitivity of the scour depth to the 4 parameters are the depth of the scouring, the velocity of approaching flow, the median particle size of sand bed and the depth of approaching flow successively from high to low.
