- Abstract
The article proposes a shock-wave technique for intensifying the process of hydrate formation of gases in gas-liquid mixtures. The processes of dissolution and formation of hydrate behind a shock wave of a moderate amplitude were investigated experimentally by showing that it occurs due to fragmentation of gas bubbles. A calculation model of the process of hydrate formation behind a step-like shock wave was proposed and the calculated results were compared to the experimental data.
