- Abstract
The article focuses on the democratic learning and global citizenship, which resulted from one-unit seminars in general education. It is aimed at addressing the debates on the quality and purpose of undergraduate education and the nature of student in particular to assess the efficacy of such education through more sophisticated analyses of student learning. The role of universities has been given greater emphasis by several faculty and academic administrators to prepare students for democratic citizenship.
