- Abstract
The article reports on the acquisition of Cadmus Communications Corp. by Cenveo Inc. in the U.S. Under the deal, Cenveo will pay $24.75 for Cadmus shares, as well as its debt of approximately $190 million. It will close in the first quarter of 2007, making Cenveo one of the largest graphic arts communications companies in the country. According to CEO Robert Burton, the acquisition complements the product line of Cenveo and it will create immediate cross-selling opportunities. Cenveo expects to reduce at least $20 million from the operating budget of Cadmus by cutting administrative and infrastructure costs.
