- Abstract
The article focuses on the author's view on his proposal to replace the name Torbenia to Torbenella in accordance with Article 60 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. It states that the genus Torbenia is established with two galatheid species. These two species are Torbenia orbis and the Lepidopteran genus Torbenia. The gender of the genus Torbenella already contains three species such as the T. calvata and T. insolita from New Caledonia, and T. orbis from the Kei and Norfolk Islands.
