- Abstract
The article focuses on how U.S-based, disabled, lesbian print cultures in the 1980s and 1990s complicated monolithic narratives of lesbian existence and decentered what calls a "muscular notion of activism." It mentions scholarship outlines how disabled lesbians are excluded from heterosexist able-bodied culture, but we know less about the exclusions that disabled lesbians. It also mentions print cultures of disability and labor in lesbian land movements.
