- Abstract
The article describes the case of an 87-year-old man with a one-week history of headache, mental confusion, disequelibrium and left arm weakness. Topics include confirmation of diffuse hyperintensity in fluid-attenuated inversion recovery images and increased apparent diffusion coefficient map values in diffusion-weighted imaging sequences, medication taken administered by the patient, and association of rheumatologic disorders with posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES).
