- Authors
Belletto, Steven
- Abstract
The article critiques the novel "Visions of Cody" of Jack Kerouac in relation to the politics of historiography. The author stated that the book functions as history when it experiments with an objective methodology for recording life and it functions as self-reflexive historiography. In addition, the book is an early manifestation of the belief that history is an arbitrary conception.
