The article focuses on Neth Spencer at Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law as the author credits and acknowledges his contribution in the practice and teaching of law. The author characterized Spencer as an extraordinarily intelligent, literate, and thoughtful. The author is also particular on Spencer's intellect which covers from commercial law up to computerized legal research. The author also regarded Spencer as a talented football athlete aside from being an intellectual.
