- Abstract
The author discusses various ways in which human resources have been mis-used in industry. The author's opinions regarding the ways in which the concept of human resources has been over simplified are discussed. Five different ways in which the author feels human resources is seen as the end to a situation are discussed, including when the goal of an organization is to eliminate conflict, when the goals of a subset of the organization conflicts with the goals of the organization and when the organization is being reorganized from the ground up. Various ways in which human resources can assist with an organization's success are mentioned, including such as using human resources as a tool to assist the organization.
