- Abstract
The objective was to identify and describe the trends in the production of knowledge in Brazilian theses and dissertations on the health of the worker who works in an operating room. Documentary study, carried out in the Periodical Catalog of the Coordination for the Improvement of Personnel and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations. Studies with complete abstracts were included, which addressed the theme of health of the worker who works in an operating room. Of the 47 selected studies, dissertations produced in 2014 in the Southeast region predominated, with a quantitative approach. The trends identified in the production of knowledge were Stress and Occupational Risks. The most significant cause of stress was interpersonal relationships. Among the diseases are, depression, burnout syndrome and sleep disorders. Biological risks were the most prominent, followed by ergonomic, physical, and chemical risks. This study points out gaps to be explored by future research, on behalf of the workers' health.
