The article presents the results of the study on familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) with neutrophilic dermatosis. It states the loss of 14-3-3 binding motif at phosphorylated S242 not perturbed by FMF mutations in B302.2/SPRY domain. It mentions that the FMF provides evidence that guard-like mechanism of pyrin regulation.
