- Abstract
The article describes the tip and trick for the exposure of the left pillar, which is the key point in the sleeve gastrectomy surgery. Topics include it being important during the posterior dissection to not divide the left gastric artery, which may look like a posterior gastric vessel, and the correct procedure for the final stapling being to move the stomach and to rotate the stapler to the left to clearly see and apply tension to the posterior aspect of the fundus.
