Dyeing The Great American Flag.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the planned dyeing of a 12,000 pound flag by the Great American Flag Fund. According to the author, the flag will be raised on a bridge in New York harbor on the fourth of July. The author adds that many companies had volunteered for the project including Spectrum Fibers, Sandoz and Milliken & Co. Furthermore, the author cited the committee headed by John Skoufis of Sandoz for the dyeing and finishing job. Information related to the process taken by the companies for the dyeing of the flag are also mentioned.
