Provides information on a study which described three patients whose confusing and difficult clinical picture, including hypercalcemia, was finally attributed to toxicity cause by chronic ingestion of large amounts of vitamin A. Factor that should be considered in the differential diagnosis of hypercalcemia; Possibility in the cause of hypercalcemia and skeletal changes; Misconceptions on hypervitaminosis.
