- Abstract
It presents the analysis of the State of the Art related to the categories Professional and Technological Education (PTE), National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education Modality (PROEJA), and Integrated High School (IHS), at the intersection with the categories Evasion and Permanence and Success. We seek to answer the question: What are the researches developed in Brazil on EMI and PROEJA and IHS about, between 2015 and 2019? The aim was to verify whether those researches include evasion, permanence, and success, and to map the subjects covered. We found 46 studies discussing a wide range of related themes: the right to education, policies, socioeconomic vulnerability, access, reception/monitoring, abandonment, failure, assistance, affirmative action programs, inclusion, among others. We verified a lack of literature and the need to stimulate research on this subject and in these areas of supply, in addition to favoring access and visibility to publications, disseminating production, discussing it, and promoting knowledge of these processes. Furthermore, the results indicate that the complexity of the issue requires systematic monitoring and evaluation and the reorganization of the database and the actions to be taken in the fight against evasion, and the construction of strategies to guarantee the right to Basic Education.
