- Authors

- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the teaching behavior of non-native English-speaking teachers (NNESTs) and self-perception regarding their own language accent, awareness, and proficiency of various English varieties. It states that data were collected through structured interviews and classroom observations of NNESTs. Results show that NNESTs in Macedonia, Africa, and Eastern Europe claimed to deal with all language skills despite most grammar, vocabulary, and classes were the focal skills while they undergo difficulty between acceptability and modesty of their proficiency.
