- Title
Your Test Bench Needs a VNA.
- Authors
Broadbent, David
- Abstract
The article discusses the accuracy and flexibility of vector network analyzer (VNA) on the design bench. One of the most common uses of the VNA is said to be quantifying the impedance mismatch between two components. The architecture of the VNA allows the separation of transmitted and reflected signals to enable vector quantity measurements and to characterize the design under test (DUT). Time-domain analysis is also cited as another function of VNAs.
