- Abstract
The article discusses the impetus for Proposition 65 and provides an overview of its controversial features. It highlights the fundamental flaws of Prop 65 focusing on consumer product warnings and bounty hunter provisions that continue to persist notwithstanding recent legislative and regulatory efforts to address them. It refers to Proposition 65 as one initiatives on the ballot in the November 4, 1986 California general election where voters declared to protect themselves against chemicals.
