- Abstract
The use of Nanoparticles as a drug delivery system has attracted much research attention in the recent times, especially in the treatment of cancer due to their better stability and less toxicity. This study evaluated the efficiency of calcium carbonate nanoparticles (CCNPs) derived from eggshell on the brain of mice. The CCNPs was synthesized from eggshells using a highly favorable top-down method. Used high dose of CCNPs 500 mg/kg give to the mice intra-peritoneum four times in one month and compare with normalgroup. Synthesis nanoparticle from eggshell with new technique. The CCNPs was characterized Using TEM, FESEM to assess particle size and morphological properties. FTIR and EDX were used to detect the physiochemical features. The results of the proposed method for synthesizing the nanoparticles enhanced CCNP efficiency. The results revealed that CCNPs have a spherical structure and ranged from 20-50 nm, after that we studied the effect of CCNPs 500mg/kg intra-peritoneum on the brain by histological study. As it became clear with high dose of CCNPs there is no side effect on the brain when compare with brain mice of normalgroup. The use of CCNPs as a carrier for treatment in the field of medicine it was safe with a highdose.
