- Abstract
The article discusses the Stanley Civilian Internment Camp on the Stanley Peninsula of Hong Kong, China, which was used by the Japanese Army to intern residents of Hong Kong during World War II. The author describes the scenery and landscape surrounding the camp. The site is currently home to St. Stephen's College. A massacre perpetrated by the Japanese Army near the site during the Battle of Hong Kong is examined. The Stanley Military Cemetery, also on the grounds, is described in detail. Various photographs of the area are provided.
