The article offers information on the efforts of the U.S. government to reform the international financial regulation through the institutional development and international cooperation in finance, after the global financial crisis of 2009. It discusses the significance of the soft law-producing networks such as the Basel Committee and the Financial Stability Board in supporting the international financial architecture.
