The article presents the typescripted notes on the concluding lecture of Italian priest and writer Opicinus de Canistris by C. G. Jung of Eranos Foundation in Ascona, Switzerland. It cites the funding of Associazione per la Ricerca in Psicologia Analitica and Turin University Department of Psychology for its English and Italian translations, respectively. It discusses the cosmogonic graph of the Bataks, the sun cult in East Africa and the moral or ethical aspect of the meaning of consciousness.
