Mercadeo neopopulista en los medios de comunicación.

- Abstract
The article discusses neo-populist dealings in the press. In the 2006 elections in Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador, spectators noticed a higher concentration of political marketing in the style typical for the United States, including image consultants, publicity, and verbal attacks. Several examples of campaign strategies from various Latin American elections are given, including the Mexican presidential election between Manuel López Obrador and Felipe Calderón. Another relatively new change in Latin American election is that the focus of the campaigns no longer center solely on the political party but rather on the candidate themselves.
