- Abstract
The article offers information on the photographer, Carlos Villalon and his work on the coverage of social, peasant, and indigenous movements in Latin America. It highlights Villalon's "Darien Gap" which tracks the long and difficult odyssey experienced every day by thousands of migrants from Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. It also informs that the Darien Gap is a 66-mile stretch of mountains, jungles, rivers, and swamps, spanning the border of Colombia and Panama.
