- Abstract
The article presents a case study of criminal jury instructions. Topics discussed are importance of jury instructions and its benefits for prosecutors at the expense of defendants, a copyright dispute which revealed that unidentified state university employees are the true authors of the jury instructions, and legal strategy fro criminal defense lawyers to seek modification of the pattern instructions, public policy objectives and a proposed legal reform of the jury instruction process.
