- Abstract
The article discusses a study which assesses the outcomes of locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) patients treated with a multidisciplinary therapy which includes noncross-resistant adjuvant and primary systemic chemotherapies (PST). It states that patients received treatments including four or six cycles of doxorubicin and docetaxel (DT) for PST. The study has found that the multidisciplinary approach is associated with long-term recurrence-free survival (RFA) and overall survival (OS) rates.
