- Abstract
The article presents a study which assesses the mammographic density and risks for local disease recurrence among patients who undergone breast-conserving surgery. It uses a multivariate analysis to evaluate the clinical data on mammographic density, tumor features, characteristics and adjuvant treatments received of 335 women who underwent breast-conserving surgery. Women with high mammographic density compared to women with less dense mammography are more expose to breast cancer recurrence.
