- Abstract
The article reports on a model of household dietary behaviors based on adults' and children's intrapersonal, interpersonal, and communicative factors, particularly the introduction and test conducted. In relation, the effect of adults' household communication and health behavior on children's health behavior is discussed. These behavioral determinants include self-efficacy, knowledge, and the use of health information. The data were gathered from the Stanford Five-City Project. An overview of structural equation models that revealed the factors that influences such children and adults behavior are offered. The encouragement on household discussion about health education is suggested.
