- Title
New insights into price-setting behaviour in the United Kingdom.
- Authors
Greenslade, Jennifer; Parker, Miles
- Abstract
The article analyzes the findings of a survey of the price-setting behaviour of nearly 700 companies in Great Britain that was conducted between December 2007 and February 2008. The survery suggests that many firms in the nation reviewed prices more frequently than actually changing them. Results also show that the presence of implicit and explicit contracts between customers and firms were viewed as the most important in causing price stickiness.
