- Abstract
The article presents an abstract of the research "Does Asia's choice of exchange rate regime affect Europe's exposure to U.S. shocks?" by Bojan Markovic and Laura Povoledo. The study used a three-country model, calibrated for the U.S., Europe and Asia, to analyze the effects on Europe of U.S. shocks. The results show that Asia's choice of the exchange rate regime has a significant effect on Europe's exposure to U.S. shocks for a productivity shock in the US non-traded goods sector.
