- Abstract
The article focuses on the availability of visual aids for the use of teachers of general science. Visual aids provides visual experience to the students and it also tend to make the experience of the classroom to be more concrete. Its importance includes the introduction, building up, enriching, or clarifying abstract concepts, development of desirable attitudes, and to stimulate further activities on the part of the learners or students. Furthermore, there are six kinds of visual aids that classify under six main headings which include the school journey, museum material, graphic materials, demonstrations and dramatizations, still figures and motion pictures.
