The article focuses on a court case Piper v. Hales between the formula one racing driver and the owner of a Porsche 917 automobile. Porsche 917 was a fast, powerful and rare racing car, originally produced by Porsche in 1969, and states that Hales was a distinguished fonner racing driver who worked as a motoring journalist, sports car tester and racing driving teacher. It also mentions that Piper arranged for the Car to be repaired in Germany by Nitsche.
