- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the impact of the method of historical inquiry on the achievement of elementary students and the pedagogical growth of pre-service teachers in the U.S. The study applied descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis and involved pre-service teachers who received training in the effective use of Library of Congress (LOC) primary sources for developing lessons. The teachers received hands-on training on the use of Photo Story 3. Results showed that the teachers are learning to be flexible in providing lessons to their students.
