- Authors
Samuel, Cynthia
- Abstract
The article argues about the need to modify the rules on the restoration of separate estate in Louisiana following the equal management reform. It looks at the separate property law of Louisiana by considering the Civil Code and court decisions. Two management jurisdictions with codified law on the restoration of the separate estate are compared. It analyzes the co-ownership law that was enacted in the state and recommends amendments to the Louisiana Civil Code.
