The article discusses the issue associated with transportation of patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Canada. Topics discussed include role of transit system in improving quality of life for individuals with ASD and for their caregivers; need for transport policies and programs; and significance of International Transport Forum (2009) for cognitive and mental health transport such as presence of staff at interchanges, and others.
