- Abstract
Using the content analysis technique, this study examines the major standards and initiatives for social responsibility, specifically the Global Compact, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Green Paper, the OECD Guidelines, SA 8000 and the standard SGE 21, to identify discursive references related to the concept of human resource management from the systemic perspective. Among the major findings, speeches were noted, aimed mostly at the subsystems of food, maintenance and human resource development, that highlight references to the elimination of child labor, non- discrimination in access to employment, health and safety at work, freedom to unionize, the right to collective bargaining, professional training and development as key aspects in each subsystem to which the analyzed standards and initiatives refer.
