The article focuses on the concept of providing dental services through movable dental chair (MDC), wherein dental auxiliary personnel can participate in dental care for more patients at low cost. As reported, the concept of MDC which remain confined to prophylaxis, operative dentistry and fluoride treatments for oral surgery and children can be used in patient education. As stated, the concept of providing dental services via MDC which moves patients from one station to another so that auxiliaries and dentists can administer treatment at their station may be used in other phases of dentistry which are not currently apparent. As cited, prototype MDC which is driven by photo-electronic tape which can be installed permanently in a hospital or dental clinic had been tested thoroughly.
