- Abstract
The article describes the screening and care of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) on pregnant women. APS is an autoimmune disease connected to vascular thrombotic events, miscarriage, and complications involving the skin, heart, and the brain, where the disease can incite morbidity in both the mother and the infant. Various APS management techniques are shown including low molecular weight heparin, low dose aspirin, and steroids.
