- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 66-year-old Chinese man who experienced upper gastrointestinal bleeding due to anisakiasis. Topics covered include Anisakis simplex roundworms found in an ulcer, symptoms such as black stools and epigastric discomfort, and parasites within the submucosal nodule that prevented endoscopic removal. Also mentioned are treatment with oral albendazole and the effective use of anti-helminthics.
