'State of the Air' report finds RI air quality improvement for particle pollution, ozone.
- Abstract
The article reveals the improvement of the state of ground-level ozone air pollution and short-term spikes in particle pollution in Rhode Island from 2018 to 2020, according to the 2022 "State of the Air" report released by the American Lung Association. Cited health effects of ozone and particle pollution are asthma attacks, cardiovascular damage and lung cancer. Data presented indicate county grade on ozone and particle pollution including in Kent, Washington and Providence.
