- Authors
Basaria, Karim
- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the case Crawford v. Washington and the Confrontation Clause in the Sixth Amendment to the nation's Constitution on the admission of testimonial summary exhibits as of July 2012, focusing on an analysis of America's hearsay evidence rule and a defendant's right to cross-examine adversarial witnesses. The author argues that the court's decision in Crawford has substantially transformed Sixth Amendment jurisprudence.
