- Abstract
In this study, the organizational, economic and contextual structures of fanzines, which prepare the ground for the emergence of underground literature and are one of the sources that feed underground literature, are examined through the fanzines released in Isparta by using content and discourse analysis. Studies on fanzines to date center the view of fanzine culture and publishing in metropolises. In this study, it is sought to answer the questions of whether fanzine publishing has gained existence in settlements outside the metropolis, what it looks like if it has, who created the fanzines for what purposes and for what reasons, through the example of Isparta. In addition, the feature of opposition, which is one of the main elements of underground literature, constitutes the main issue of this study within the scope of the examined fanzines. In addition to the elements of opposition identified in the content and discourse of fanzines, the history of fanzines, their relationsip with literature, their reflection in the world and in Turkey, and today's fanzine publishing are mentioned. This study, which points to a gap about fanzine publishing, reveals that there is a fanzine culture in small cities like Isparta. In this study, in-depth interview technique with zinesters is used.
