- Abstract
Hearing loss is one of the symptoms of ear diseases which cause a serious problem for the employee and can cause communication problems, too. Hearing loss caused by noise at work develops progressively due to excessive noise in the workplace. A workplace where the noise level exceeds 87 dB is considered risky. The presented article aims at creating a mathematical model based on the multiple regression analysis. When designing the mathematical model the author worked with 57 audiograms. The task was to determine the relationship between the total loss of hearing and hearing loss at frequencies of 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz.
